Friday, January 17, 2014. Six months ago today our hearts literally broke. Someday I will get to writing about that whole experience, someday. Today, I miss Paxton. With every cell of my body. I ache to hold his body and kiss his cheeks, ear, on down to his neck; stroke his hair; and feel his hand on my face. I miss seeing him wake up so happy and look towards the window, as if it would tell him what kind of a day it would be. It was so fun for me, too! He was so perfect and peaceful and.
We are just very busy living our lives. school, work, kids, family, etc. Trying to stay sane through it all. Hamhock is now in 3rd grade and doing great! He is reading grade level and keeping up with his peers. He has a best friend and gets along with most kids in his class.

Our December activities go hand in hand but will be done in two parts. Part one was making snow globes and practicing Christmas carols. Part two will be the service portion where we will deliver the globes and sing carols to residents at a local nursing home. Gold and silver spray paint. Of course, you can improvise as needed. Here is a video that explains the process. We spray painted our lids gold and silver to color the Gerber markings.

In addition, the girls wanted to just talk and play. so this activity really allowed the girls to spend time doing that but also complete the activity.
